US Cities for Sea Turtle Spotting
Posted on September 17, 2011 in Uncategorized by adminComments Off

If you’re more concerned about your kid’s first B or what type of wildblue deals can save you money perhaps you’ve got your priorities mixed up. The sea turtle is one of the nation’s most endangered species and there are only a few places in the US where this animal still thrives naturally. Consider a conservation trip to one of these cities:
Fort Lauderdale – The city pours a lot of money into conservation and there are protected areas everywhere designated for sea turtles to lay their eggs. Vessels try to be cautious of the animals but with such rapid growth the population is shrinking.
Duck, NC – The Outer Banks of North Carolina are a welcome respite for tired turtles. A few weeks each year these majestic creatures can be seen all over the beaches and residents here take special care to keep them safe.
Panama City – This tourist haven isn’t the first place you think of when you hear “sea turtle” but the sand is particularly hospitable for them and the residents try to be cautious.
